My collegiate goal is to receive a quality education in the journalism (radio/television) field which will lead to graduation and employment in news broadcasting or sports broadcasting industry.
I believe I am a good candidate for the team because I am very coachable, learn quickly, have great stamina, speed, and strength to compete at a colligate level. I believe in being a team player and know playing as a team is the only way to have success.
I am different from other recruits because I believe I am a natural leader with great communication skills. I have a great instinct for the game and am able to quickly learn from many different styles of coaching. By the use of my speed, strength and stamina I am able to provide the same quality of play in the last period as the first. I am an ASB student council member, USA water polo outstanding achiever Academic All American and high school Block Y representative holding a 4.0 grade point average while taking honors and A.P classes. I have been a competitive swimmer since the age of 5 and have played water polo year round since the age of 9. The first two years of high school I received 1st team Citrus Belt League honors and team MVP. For my junior and senior year I was awarded the Citrus Belt League MVP and Inland Empire Player of the year. I believe in all aspects of the game and am always looking for ways to improve my skills, stamina, strength and knowledge. I believe that my passion for the sport and my never quit mentality will set me apart from the other recruits.
