Hi! I'm Abby Shields. I'm a freshman at West Forsyth in Cumming, GA. I started competitively swimming in 2017 when I was 10 years old. Swimming was my number 1 passion for about 4 years, and it came very quickly for me to learn the tips and tricks, and even qualifying at state and sectionals level only after 2 years starting out. Then came my 8th grade year, and one of my friends convinced me to try one of her Water Polo practices. I agreed to one practice and then it ended up with me playing for the season, and then the next, and I'm just about to start my 4th season. Water Polo came very naturally for me, and I'm sure swimming had a big affect on that. I'm hoping to take Water Polo further, as it is something I'd never thought I'd take competitively, but I can't seem to get enough of it now.
