Amira Abbasi '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Amira Abbasi and I am a Junior at Mountain View High school. I have been swimming since I was 7 years old., with swimming I have been able to obtain many county and state cuts. In 2018 I was part of two relays (The 200 and 400 free relay) that broke school records and Made county All-Stars. Last year was my first year playing waterpolo, and we made second in the state of Georgia. Also last year I attended 2 ODP’s, where I was selected to participate in the 2019 South East Zone championship in Greensboro North Carolina. I have been known to play right wing and flat/ driver because I am left handed, but can also be considered a utility player. In February 2019, I joined The Dynamo 16U team and we placed 2nd in the south east summer classic tournament where we qualified for Junior Olympics, where I scored 9 goals. We later went to Junior Olympics where we placed 4th in the Classic Bronze division, where I  scored 10 goals. As of right now i am halfway trough my high school waterpolo season and I have scored more then 30 goals. I think I would be a good candidate for your college because I’m left handed, fast and aggressive. I am coachable and a team player. I am outgoing and have good sportsmanship. I get along great with my teammates and respect my coaches, and I am a fast learner. I would like you to consider me and give me the opportunity to play for you in 2021.
