Hudson Geier '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hudson Geier and I am in 11th grade at Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii. I have grown up in and around the water.  I started playing water polo after discovering the sport in the 6th grade. I started at a smaller program through Le Jardin Academy, and then when I went to middle school I started doing programs at Punahou. I have played under Coach Ken Smith and Coach Mark Maretzki for 5 years now. While it was difficult during covid I made it work by going to play for SET water polo for four months under Brad Schumacher and Nicole Doherty. I competed with their B team and won in the JO's B bracket last year. I learned a lot through my time at SET. I also play for the Oahu Water Polo club and participate in any ODP and JO opportunities here in Hawaii under Coach Eko Lapp.  I love being in the water and while water polo is my passion I also have been a competitive swimmer for 12 years, which goes hand in hand with improving my water polo skills.
