Kimbrell Kunz '20 Recruiting Profile

    Four of my older sisters played four years of high school water polo so I have been around the sport since I was born. All of them were talented field players and I always wanted to be just like them. From 6th grade through freshman year I trained as a field player with no intention whatsoever to be goalie. At the beginning of my sophomore year our goalie suddenly quit, leaving us with absolutely no one to be the keeper. Long story story, I volunteered to try out something new and after a quick week and a half after being thrown in the goal I was the starting goalie for my team at our first tournament of the season. I immediately started to fall in love with this position. 

    I want to do what I love, I want to succeed in what I love, and most of all I want to have fun doing what I love. I mean who wouldn't want to be in the cage getting balls thrown right at their face. There really isn't anywhere else I would want to be because I am happiest and most comfortable in the goal.
