I feel I have been very fortunate when it comes to playing athletics. Starting at a young age, I spent a lot of time at the pool swimming and training; I also played travel basketball and travel soccer up until high school. Soon my interest shifted to water polo as I have always loved playing team sports. I am interested in becoming a college athlete because I am very passionate about learning and excelling my skill level in waterpolo, as well as contributing to a team and enjoying the sport. When I first started playing waterpolo, I played for my local club team. I then started to become more competitive and became involved in the USA Water Polo Olympic Development program. I was part of the Midwest development team and the Cadet National team. Along the way I have participated in many tournaments where I have grown not only as a person, but as a player. Although I am very committed to waterpolo, I also make sure to balance my studies. I am proud to say that I am a student who achieves both A and B's in honors and AP classes. I like to challenge myself and succeed when it comes to academics and waterpolo. Overall, my goal and dream is to succeed in playing waterpolo at a competitive, collegiate level along while furthering my studies in the medical field.
