Faith Harris '22 Recruiting Profile

I want to be a pediatric nurse practitioner. I chose the nursing profession because I want to be an advocate for those that sometimes don’t have a voice or may not be able to articulate how they are feeling. I also have a love and passion for Water Polo. The first day I played in high school, I was hooked. It incorporates swimming, it is fast paced and very exciting. I enjoy the challenge and the competition no matter if we win or lose. I am a leader; it is not enough to just play the game but I want to help the team play their best. As a goalie, it is my job to be the manager in the water. I can see the patterns the fielders may miss because I am able to watch my team as well as the other team. I am the captain for both the Water Polo and Swim team at my high school. During high stress moments I know how to rise to the occasion. The last 1.5 years when we were doing remote learning, I received all A’s. I am very proud of this and I know I can be an asset to any team.
