I am a real people person and that's why I've always loved playing team sports. I enjoy the buzz of great team culture and love to see myself and team members improve and perform. I have played in multiple teams across school, club and national teams and my strength is my ability to focus on the positives and always look for ways to be a better athlete and team mate. This skill has meant that throughout my water polo career I have consistently played above my age group and have solidified my position as centre back in all of the teams.
The highlight of my career in 2021 has been being selected into the U20 New Zealand trans-Tasman team and being selected into the U18 junior women's squad which will travel to the junior games in 2022. In 2022 I was selected into the NZ womens national squad and aim to be selected to play Worlds youth comp in July 2022.
Because I have a variety of interests, the USA college academic system appeals to me as it allows me to take classes in a variety of liberal art courses which I find to be a very exciting prospect.
