I have been playing waterpolo for around 6 years now, at my very first practice I absolutely hated it but have grown to love it and knew I wanted to play collegiately if I was given the chance, around my 8th grade year. I have participated in many high level tournaments, including 2018 & 2019 JOs as well as 2019 ODP Nationals and most recently, 2020 ODP regionals where I was again selected for the zone team for Nationals. I think through the years of playing all over the mountain zone and around California, occasionally, with different teams has developed my ability to adapt to any situation or any opponent. I am very strong in my defense and am an active member of the offense as well, one thing that I know I am very good at is being coachable. I always walk in with a ready to learn mentality and am willing to do whatever it takes to help my team and I win, I am the same way with school as well as other extracurriculars. I’ve been apart of student senate since freshman year and have consistently taken AP and Honors classes, although it is busy along with waterpolo, I have learned to have great time management skills and to be coach able in and out of the water.
