Personal Statement

I am the type of person you want on your team.  My teammates always come first, in and out of the water.  I am a hardworking, determined individual who is willing to do what it takes to achieve my goals of playing college water polo.  I devote countless hours to the sport I love, and every second of work is worth it.

Whether I am at water polo practice, racing for the swim team, or in the classroom, I put my all into everything that I do.  Water polo is my driving force--I want to play at a competitive college and possibly even reach the Olympic level.

As a freshman, I was named State MVP after helping my high school team win their first ever state championship in 2016.  We won state again in 2017, and this year my team placed 2nd after a hard-fought championship game.  The loss was disappointing, but it will give me even more motivation next year.

I have competed in ODP National Championships the past three years (2017-2019), I attended NTSC in 2017 and this coming summer will be my third year playing Junior Olympics.  No matter how much time I spend in the water, I'm always up for another game!

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
