I am currently in my senior year of high school and would like to start my next educational level in the fall semester of 2024. I started playing water polo my 8th grade year and fell in love with it instantly. I have since then gone to ODP camps where I had the opportunity to make the NEZ National and Regional Team for Cadets in 2022 and NEZ National and Regional Team for Youth in 2023. For my club team for JO's in San Jose, we were a group of girls from different states in the North East Coast. We placed first in the Gold U16 category which put us 25th overall. It is such a unique experience to play with a group of people from all over and to hear everyone's backgrounds and life stories. I love water polo in the fact that there is a whole team there for you. Everyone on that team strives to give what they can to add to the team but also how everyone is out of the water. Some of my favorite memories I have from water polo are winning states with my High School Team, winning our division in JO's and the practices together. I love working hard during practice and being able to push myself to a limit in order to achieve goals that I set for myself. In this sport it has also taught me time management because during the school year I would go to Connecticut and Annapolis for practices. For this I would end up doing my rigorous schoolwork, which is packed with AP classes, in the car or in the hotel room. I love every minute of it. My dreams are to play collegiate water polo and become an audiologist once I graduate med school.
