I am a grade 12 student-athlete, graduating in 2024. My plan for after graduation this summer is to play in Europe for a season and I am looking to start my NCAA career in the 2025/2026 season (September 2025). I am currently playing club water polo for Team Sask from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. I have made 3 Canadian international teams 2023 u17 pan am, 2024 u19 pan am and the 2024 u18 world championship team. I played with Diablo Alliance lasg summer at JO events.
I attend Archbishop M.C. O’Neill Catholic High School as a French immersion student and have been on the honour roll for 3 years. I am interested in continuing my water polo career in 2025. I am a 5’10” centre defender/utility and I’ve been playing water polo since I was 8. I am currently looking into a degree in sports medicine, kinesiology, or athletic therapy.
Throughout my years of playing water polo, I have competed in many different styles and levels of the sport. I won bronze with the Canadian Youth National Team in 2023 in Brazil. I’ve been playing with Team Sask in Canada for the last 6 years, where we have won 4 NCL National titles in the past 2 and a half years. As a first year 17u player I was a strong defensive player but only scored 8 goals in 21 games. This year I scored 16 in my first 10 games and 55 in my next 17 games including 9 combined in the semi-final and final at the 17U NCL Nationals in May of 2023. For my performance I was named of the MVP of the 17U women’s division. I also have a past in speed swimming as I swam with the Regina Piranhas Summer Swim Club and ranked 3rd in high points for the females.
I am a very hard worker and take pride in getting high grades in school and excelling at my sport. I am very coachable and feel I am really only beginning to scratch the surface of my potential, as indicated by my performance this year versus last year. I have a high water polo IQ and take pride in playing tough defense. I love playing the water polo and hope to one day play on the Canadian Senior Women’s National Team. I aspire to be able to have an impact on every team I play with and always strive to learn and grow as a better student, athlete, and leader.
