Kayla Scarpaci '19 Recruiting Profile

The highlight of my High School career thus far has been making the State tournament.  Although we ended 4th, the experiences I gained throughout that weekend with my team have shaped me into the player and person I am today. Even though the State tournament was an amazing experience, I grew most as a student-athlete my Sophomore year when I suffered a Concussion at the beginning of the season, causing me to miss most of the season, ultimately finishing the season on the Junior Varsity team, after being on varsity my Freshman year. That season helped me to regain focus on my goals which is to ultimately play Water Polo at the college level. 

I have been blessed to be apart of such an amazing program at Langham Creek High School for the past 3 years, where I learned the value of determination and teamwork, and although that water polo is a team sport it requires an extreme amount of self-motivation in order to continue to improve. I am searching for a program that will challenge me athletically and academically. I believe I have the work ethic and leadership skills to not only become a college athlete but to make a positive and long-lasting impact on your program. Being the fun-loving and energetic leader that I am, I believe I have what it takes to be on your team.
