Lilia Manges '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Lilia Manges and I play water polo for Bainbridge Island Water Polo Club and the Bainbridge High School Varsity water polo team. What I love most about water polo is the physical rigor and challenge it brings. I understand that no matter much I improve in the pool, I will always have more to learn. I hope to keep growing and improving in college. I strive to be a leader on my team and ensure I am always positive, supportive, and bringing the best version of myself to every practice and game. As captain of my high school swim team, I led my team to the state podium in 2022. Out of the pool, I value academics and put intense focus into my education. My commitment to the IB Program has challenged me to maintain focus and good time-management skills. I want to play for a school where I am challenged and responsible for my effort and commitment to my team in and out of the pool.
