Sophia Renteria '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello I’m Sophia Renteria. I started wrestling in 7th grade as a hobby but fully committed to it as a junior. My goals are to further myself academically and athletically by continuing to wrestle at the collegiate level. I aspire to one day wrestle as a member of the Olympic team. I am a good candidate for any team because I am one of the hardest workers you’ll ever meet in all aspects. I always look for ways to improve and will put everything to make it happen.  All athletes aspire to get to the next level  but no everyone can. Those that can, differ from other athletes through their actions and drive for their sports. I believe I have that drive and can wrestle and the next level, all I need is the opportunity to wrestle for a collegiate team that is right for me.
