My name is Carolina Moreno and I come from a small town called Somerton, about 15 miles form the boarder. I have been wrestling for about 7 years and would love to continue my career onto the collegiate level and become a world team member. I love to work hard and I will do anything to get to where I need to be. I’d like to think I hold strong leadership ship skills and I enjoy setting an example. I am very optimistic and tend to bring the positive energy to where it’s needed.
I have done multiple sports such as soccer, competitive swimming, volleyball, softball, gymnastics, and of course wrestling. As for clubs I enjoyed being in student government, performing dance, and renaissance club. I have a GPA of 4.2 and hope to only bring it higher.
One of my biggest achievements would have to be when I took 2nd at my city tournament. I had to face the most adversity with cutting weight and wrestling boys as a 7th grader. There was no shortcuts and I really had to work my butt off running as often as I could and work hard at practice. A couple others include becoming an All-American at Fargo and being the first girl to win state at Kofa High School, in Arizona AIA Girl Wrestling. I am also ranked number 8 in the country.
