Diana Gonzalez '23 Recruiting Profile

One main collegiate goal I have to be an All-American, be Nationally Ranked, and to be a World Team Member. I would be a good candidate for any team because I am hard-working, dedicated, and I can step up and be a leader. I am a 4.0+ student and have taken a multitude of AP classes at my high school. I am also in CSF and the National Honor Society. I have also been a math tutor throughout high school. I am the captain of the Buchanan High School Girls' Varsity Wrestling Team. I am ranked #2 in the state of California at 106 lbs, #17 in the nation at 106 lbs, and #9 in the nation at 112 lbs. I have been a 3x All-American in 2022. I'm also a referee for the Central Valley Wrestling Association. For tournaments, I try to show up and be as supportive as possible for my teammates and be a good example. I try to be a good role model for the younger kids at my wrestling club, especially for the younger girls so they can see they can continue their wrestling career and be able to compete at higher levels.
