I started wrestling in my junior year of high school and quickly fell in love with it. I came to realize that I would have to put in the work in order to be at a competing level with the other girls that were in both my region and my weight. I started wrestling at 106 which was a very competitive class in California. I struggled with illness the entirety of last year and had still managed to pull off a third placement in CIF southern sectionals and make day two of masters, placing top 12 and going 2-2. I have been working all summer to get more comfortable with scrambles, shooting, and top work. I am very determined to improve as much as I can this year and hopefully in my college years. I am currently wrestling at the 121 and 116 weight classes but would be comfortable putting on mass and going up.
