I have been wrestling since I was thirteen but didn't start competing till I was a freshman. I started wrestling because I wasn't very good or interested in other sports like soccer or volleyball, but as soon as I stepped on the mat I knew wrestling is what I wanted to do. My brother and my dad also wrestled so I was just even more curious about it. I just absolutely fell in love with the sport. I feel like I would be an asset to you program because I'm dedicated, and I'm always looking to improve myself as a wrestler. Also, my grades are as high as I could get them to be and have always took care of my academics. I hope to achieve a 4.0 for the next semester and the following year. The start of my wrestling career was challenging, but now I stand at 67-13. So far in my wrestling career I'm a 2X State qualifier, Division 2 CIF champ, San Diego Section Masters Champ, and took first in my league twice. I'm excited to see what's in store for me my senior year.
