I have big goals for my future. For high school wrestling I made it to state this year, but I lost my blood round for getting a medal. Next year my goal is state champ, and I feel as if that is a reasonable for my future. As the captain of my girls team, I find having a team player attitude is very important. When my team gets new people I go out of my way to make them feel welcomed, and teach them as much as possible. I make sure to keep a positive attitude, and after every match I compliment my opponent. Win or lose, I was taught while playing Roller derby that it’s necessary to separate the violence of your sport, and your character. I believe this sets me apart from a others in this sport. I pick up moves quickly, and build muscle quickly. I’ve been described as a ray of sunshine, but I do not hold back on the mat. My sophomore year all 20 of my wins were by pin, and my junior year 28 of my 32 wins were by pin. Each year I strive for bigger goals, and each year I meet those goals. I’m interested in a Sports Science, Sports management, or any degree that leads me to becoming a good coach. I’m willing to work hard, while keeping a smile on my face.
