My name is Madison Baxter. I am a senior at Pepperell High School in Lindale, Georgia. I am involved in serval sports including softball, wrestling, and my main sport being track and field. I have five siblings ranging from the age of 21 to 5. With growing up with many siblings and in a household where money has always been kinda tight Ive always wanted to go to a college where I can make a profession out of what I love to do. I plan to attend a college where I can study nursing or early childhood education and also proceed to be part of the track and field program. Throughout middle school and high school I have had some of the hardest years of my life and still kept up with my grades and proceeded to do well in my sports as well. I was in a really bad wreck my 8th grade year leading to many PT visits, my freshman year COVID hit and sadly my track season got canceled, sophomore year my mom got really sick due to covid and resulted in me missing quite a bit of school and getting behind in sports. Last year was my first actual normal high school year, with that I proceeded to come in 3rd at state for wrestling and qualify for state in track and field. Im not going to tell you that you should pick me to be part of your team, because honestly no one should ever think they are intitled to anything, but I am a really good hard worker and I love being part of a team where I am going to be encouraged to do my best each day and not get put down when I have a bad day. I strive for greatness as my parents and coaches have always taught me too. So if you would like to have a girl that strives for greatness, is dedicated and hardworking, and loves being part of a team I think I could be a great addition to your track team.
