Madeleine Hatchett '26 Recruiting Profile

I joined wrestling in November of 2021, and since then it’s been my biggest passion. Since joining wrestling this sport has offered me amazing opportunities to grow as a person and as an athlete. It’s taught me the value of focusing on the process of achieving your goals and the work that it takes to get there. Since joining wrestling, I have qualified for the Idaho all-class state tournament three times, and been a district runner up twice. I have enjoyed winning multiple tournaments in high school. I truly see myself going far In this sport, and I am willing to do anything to make that happen. The best parts of wrestling are not the achievements I have accomplished, but the person I’ve turned into along the way and the lessons I’ve learned. Wrestling has truly taught me the value of grit and hard work, and what it means to have integrity.
