At this point in time, one of my goals is to become a state champion during my high school career. I also hope to become an All American. I am a two time state qualifier and I have qualified for Fargo. Sadly, due to Covid-19 I was unable to compete at IWCOA Girls State this past season as it was cancelled. I am a hard worker and I am driven. I always do everything I can to ensure that I give my all to whatever I do. I believe I have a good work ethic and am fairly organized. No matter what, I will always push to do better and be better in both athletics and academics. Currently I am consistently following a lifting and exercise program as well as trying to get on the mat at least four times a week with a coach or teammate. I am also continuing to work on improving my mental toughness and limiting hesitation while competing. I am working on perfecting my technique as well as explosiveness. I do not have a perfect record, but I always do my best to fully perform in each match. I am the first female captain of the wrestling team at my school, and I feel that this shows perseverance as well as leadership skills. Additionally, I represent the wrestling team alongside one of my co-captains on our Athletic Leadership Council. In terms of academics I have been able to raise my gpa by .4 in the last two years by continuously studying and focusing on school as best as I can. I have also joined the LTAC Senior Leaders group in order to help out academic center students, as I am an academic center graduate myself. I always do my best to challenge myself in school by taking honors as well as AP classes and doing my best to score well on all AP exams. In the future I intend to pursue my bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science and then my masters in either Physical Therapy or Athletic Training. I have always thoroughly loved sports and as someone who has suffered from injuries here and there, I want nothing more than to work with athletes on injury prevention as well as helping them grow to be the best athlete they can be.
