Charlie Johnson '21 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I can remember, baseball has been a huge part of my life. I knew I loved the game since I started playing organized baseball at the age of 6. I started taking catching seriously when I was 14 because I love to be involved in every single play and I love taking control of situations. I earn every coaches' and every pitchers' trust with my defensive plays and make them feel comfortable with throwing competitive pitches. Every coach that I have played for knows that when they play me, something good will happen, whether that be offensive or defensive. I can also play multiple positions such as third and outfield because that’s where I used to play before I started catching. I’d love to find a college that fits and challenges both my academic and athletic ambitions and goals.
