I am interested in attending college to earn my business degree. My dream is to be a Realtor and to sell and design houses. My hope for my college experience is to grow as a young professional to be successful in my future business. Being a collegiate athlete will help me reach my goals by providing discipline and encouraging teamwork.
I have been in athlete my whole life, trying out soccer, football, gymnastics, tennis and eventually joining Taekwondo 12 years ago. In middle school, I played basketball and soccer, but when I entered high school, I wanted to do something different. That is when I started wrestling. When I joined the team, I was the only girl. I recruited some of my friends to join, and now we have at least six girls on the team. I am looking forward to gaining more skills over my next two years in high school and improving even more at the collegiate level. I know I still have a lot to learn and want to work with coaches and teammates who can help me be my best.
What makes you a good candidate for your team? I feel like I would be a great asset for the team because I am a hard worker and committed to making the team stronger. I am willing to ask for help when I need it, and I am willing to help others when I can.
How would I benefit the team? I would be good for the team because I am strong-hearted. I love being around people, and while I want our team to win, I also want it to be fun. I like to work hard and play hard.
What makes me different from other recruits is my flexibility. Currently, I play four sports (golf, softball, Taekwondo and wrestling), and each one teaches me something different and helps my athletic abilities in my other sports. I learn fast, and once I get something down I go with it. I am good communicator, and once I master a skill, I love teaching others.
