My name is Aaliyah Payne-Parris, and I am currently going into my Junior year of high school. I started wrestling my freshman year of high school and ever since I stepped onto a mat I knew I wanted more. My first year was a little difficult and challenging with many obstacles but that only pushed me to want to get better and become the person I want to be. In everything I do I always try to achieve at the highest level of success. To show that my first step is wanting to wrestle in college. I am willing to always put my best effort forward no matter how hard it may be. I want to attend a college that has a great room with a coach that will push me to the fullest potential for me to get better and reach my goals.
During the offseason I spend most of my time doing private lessons and working out. I believe that only I can get better if I put the work and time in when nobody else is or least expect you to. As I grow physically and mentally throughout my college career, I also know academics comes first. When it comes to school I am independent, respectful, and responsible.
