Anahi DeJesus '27 Recruiting Profile

When choosing a winter sport for this current year of school, my freshman year, I chose wrestling despite not knowing anything about it. It has changed my life in so many important ways in such a short amount of time, and id like to pursue it for as long as I can as well as keeping my music aspirations alive. I’m an honors student and have always loved to try things that are out of my comfort zone, I always insure that giving up was never an option. Even when I felt like I couldn’t wrestle, I couldn’t give up, not then, not now, not ever. By the time I reach college I’ll have four years of wrestling under my belt, and I hope to inspire other young girls to be brave and pursue what they are passionate about, to see that as women we are all capable of doing any sport a man could do.
