While sports have been a huge part of my life, academics and community oriented events have been my main focus in high school. Serving as the student body president for two years has given me the opportunity to begin a community service club at my high school. Our little community supports every single student we have in their extracurricular activities and academic careers, it is my goal to make sure our community knows we appreciate them. Along with student body I am also an active member of our FFA chapter. Serving as a chapter officer all four years and current district vice president has inspired me to pursue a future career in agricultural. The 2019-2020 wrestling season was the first time I had the opportunity to compete. After 4 months, 6 tournaments won, 2nd place at the state qualifier and state tournament, and now being ranked 25th in the nation, it became clear that wrestling was my new found passion. I'll be the first person to say that I still have a lot to learn, but I'm willing to work harder than I ever have in my life to achieve my goals and make my home town proud.
