In the world of wrestling, I've discovered not just a sport but a profound journey of self-discovery and resilience. As a female wrester, every match is a testament to my dedication, strength, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Wrestling has sculpted not only my physique but also my character, teaching me the value of discipline, teamwork, and unwavering determination. Beyond the mat, my commitment to academics mirrors my dedication to the sport. I aspire to contribute not only a formidable athlete but as a driven and academically focused team member. My goal is to be recruited to college for wrestling with possibly a half or full ride. This is mainly because my family can't provide the resources meaning the money i need for college. I'm striving for support like a full ride instead of student loans. I am a sophomore. This is my second year of wrestling. My freshman year (my first year of wrestling) record was 27-9 including districts and regionals. I had 2 losses, 2 wins for districts and 2 losses, 2 wins for regionals. I placed 4th in districts and 7th in regionals. Freshman year I placed 1st at "Justice for All' tournament, and a few other medals last season. This season as being a sophomore I believe my record is 19-1. I placed 1st at the "last chance" tournament, I placed 3rd at the "Justice for All" tournament. All other meets I won all my matches. Unfortunately, I won't be able to compete in districts, regionals or state for my sophomore year due to being injured. I tore a muscle in my upper right back and have nerve damage from my neck to the bottom of my right arm. I'm doing everything I can do to heal as soon as I can to get back in the game. I plan to go to many camps/clubs and come back better than ever and have an outstanding season for junior year.
