I started my wrestling journey when I was 11 years old. While in the youth program, I qualified for state 3 years in a row and fell in love with the sport. I have aspired to continue my career in college since I was young. After a short break from wrestling, I rejoined my high school team for the 2022-2023 season. During the season, I placed first at 2 Women's Wrestling tournaments, and second at several others. By the end of the season, I was awarded Womans' MVP for the team. I was the first woman to qualify, and place at Woman's WIAA State at Fort Atkinson Highschool.
I push myself every day to be a better athlete, student, and person. My future is very important to who I am. Wrestling has taught me discipline, and hard work. I would love to continue my wrestling career at a college where I can pursue my love for science, specifically in neuroscience and biology.
