Golf is a game of continuous self improvement for me. I have learned in my golf experience that my mental toughness and patience are just as important as my physical ability. There is something about going up to a tee box and gazing at the course and being able to hit a shot 250 yards that takes my breath away. That is why I love the game of golf. My goal is to improve my golf game substantially my senior year so I can finish my high school career on the highest note possible and reach my full potential. I am working hard on my game this off season, including strength and conditioning. I will be playing regional tournaments this summer (2020). I have played varsity golf for three years and have had three different varsity golf coaches and I have learned that being adaptive and coachable is extremely important. I take challenging classes and continue to maintain high honors. Being a golfer I miss a lot of classes during the fall season and I am easily able to manage the balance between my sport, class work and all my other extra curricular activities. I am a leader at my school and with my golf team. I am interested in a college where I can make a positive impact to the golf team with my scores and my attitude.
