Aiden Knight '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Aiden Knight, I am a two time Alabama state qualifier ,one time state placer, and one time Alabama state champion. I am a graduate in the class of 2023 at Mcadory High School. I have been wrestling since I was in seventh grade. As an eighth grader I was asked to join the varsity wrestling team at McAdory High School. As a freshman I was a starter, I placed at our sectional tournament, where I qualified for state. My team and I won the state championship that year.  As a sophomore, I qualified for state and went on to place fifth in the tournament.

      I am now beginning my junior season and I am working very diligently to reach my goal of winning state. I’ve worked hard over the summer and will continue to do so throughout this year and into my senior year. During the off-season I competed in elite tournaments such as Super 32, Fargo and several others in the past 3 years.

      Since I stumbled upon wrestling it has been the only thing that I have thought about doing. I aspire to have the chance to compete on the collegiate level and show my worth. I work hard every practice to accomplish the goals that I have set for myself. Having the chance to compete and learn on a higher level will only push me further to reach my highest dreams and goals.
