Xerxes Ellison '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Xerxes Ellison and I am currently a Sophomore at Smith Station High School, Alabama. I am successful on the mat and in the classroom. I have had all A's since elementary school, and I have taken all advanced/honors classes for as long as they have been offered at my school. I am ranked third in my class, and I even took the ACT as Freshman scoring a 29. I participate in and lead many extracurriculars. I am the Sophomore Class President, and the Vice President of FBLA. I am on the varsity wrestling team. This year was my first year starting on varsity, and I qualified for State at 285 while only weighing 205 pounds. Wrestling is my true passion, and it is my goal to place at State next year. I would like to attend a College that challenges me academically and to proudly represent my school on the mat.
