I want to go to college to earn a degree in a sports-related field. Sports and exercise have been a part of my life since I was five years old. What I like about wrestling is the ability to work as a team and as an individual. I like how as a wrestler, you can work to earn points for your team and win team meets or tournaments. However, I also like how you can get recognized for your accomplishments. Another reason I like wrestling is the contact and aggressiveness that is needed to beat your opponent.

On top of that, wrestling can teach you life lessons that you can use not just on the mat but also off the mat. I would be a good candidate for your team because I have a good work ethic and am a hard worker, and I will put my all into accomplishing my goals. I am constantly looking to improve myself on and off the mat. With that, I strive to maintain my grades while in my sport so that I will not miss out on any practice or competitions so it will not negatively affect myself or my teammates. I am currently in NHS with a cumulative weighted GPA of 4.36.
