Hello, I'm Akshat, and I have been wrestling since eighth grade. I started at 150s in middle school, and after my first school season, I decided to join a club to better my wrestling. Due to COVID-19, I was no longer able to train at Sunnyvale Wrestling Club, but during quarantine, I would run, lift weights and shadow wrestle every day to get better at the sport. In October 2020, I decided to train Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu at Serao Academy to further my knowledge of grappling, which would help me in wrestling. I fell in love with the art of grappling and decided to start doing Luta Livre and Muay Thai to become a better, well-rounded fighter. I am highly motivated, and I don't let anything come in the way of me getting better. Even if I know the path I'm taking will be difficult, I still push through, knowing I'll be a better version of myself on the other side. I set no limits for myself. I am the kind of athlete that if I ever feel uncomfortable with a specific position, I practice from there repeatedly until I feel comfortable with it. Overall, I am a well-rounded athlete who always tries to improve himself and loves criticism. I am always trying to be a better fighter and hopefully one day the best.
