I am a 6' (so far, still growing tall) a starter on the varsity line up for the 145 pound weight class for Quartz Hill High School. I’ve been on the varsity line up for 2 years. Wrestling is my Life!
I started wrestling when I was 6 years old along with training in Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing and MMA. That day I started doing the Sport of wrestling I knew that this is what I am and this is what I am made to be. Since a young age I wanted to become a World and Olympic gold medalist and been working towards that goal ever since.
My first coach was Kazeka Muniz who trained many fighters like Rampage Jackson, Yoel Romero, and other UFC fighters and Olympians.
My other coach was Guilherme Vasconcelos who is currently signed in Bellator. Both helped me grow and become the hardcore, laser-focused, dedicated and hard working wrestler that I am today, striving to become a completed wrestler.
I was competing in tournaments since a young age becoming a Pan Am silver medalist in 2012 and North American Champion in 2012.
My current high school record is 45-19 going stronger and better every day. In addition Over the summer I competed at the FreakShow National Championships and wrestled very talented kids. At this tournament I went 2-2.
I Know and I Believe in my heart that I will be an amazing asset to a college wrestling team bringing an immediate, positive, powerful impact to the team as an individual wrestler and as a team player. Wrestling Room and Wrestling Tournaments are my second home and were I belong.
I am always working hard every day, pushing myself and my team to the limit.
In the last Two summer vacations I completed the West Coast Wrestling camp (2018) and the University of Iowa Wrestling camp (2019). During the coming spring break I will be going to OTC working to take my freestyle skills to the next level.
This current season my goal is to be a California State Champion in the 145 pound weight class.
Due to a strict budget I prefer a school with less out of pocket expense, hoping to find a scholarship that will fit my needs. I would be willing to travel farther as I am open to any University around the country with a great wrestling program where I can pursue my goal of becoming a 4x NCAA champion.
My current GPA is 2.5 but I am working hard in and out of the classroom to achieve my goal of a 4.0 by the upcoming semester.
First two years of high school I invested more efforts in my Sport rather in my academic achievements.
learning from placing my priorities wrong resulting me working much harder on the third and fourth year of high school achieving higher academics scores.
At this point I am still exploring the academic fields I'm interested, currently leaning towards the business field.
My biggest motivation is feeling Fulfilled, Happy and Successful and I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that.
