I grew up with 3 older siblings, all of which played rough, so I had to learn to be tough. My dad always stressed how important it is to work hard and try my best in everything, which I've tried to do all my life. Coming into high school my dad strongly encouraged me to be more physically active which lead me to participate in wrestling and golf. Both were difficult but I quickly learned to like them and perform well in them. Through wrestling I learned to think creatively and to not give up until the end. I plan on graduating high school with at least a 3.5 grade average my senior year. I then want to graduate from college in 4 years with a degree in Criminal Justice. An obstacle I always faced is dealing with asthma, but I condition in order to overcome it. A characteristic I find helps me wrestle is my height, I'm 6'2". I can use my extra length on wrestlers as leverage, being able to reach farther and pry open my opponent's guard. I also am a good scrambler, on bottom I move quickly and constantly to out maneuver my opponent.
