John Gamble '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Jack Gamble. I am 16 years old, and a Junior at California High School in San Ramon. I am on the Varsity Football team, and wrestle for Varsity, and this year have been wrestling up 2 weight classes. I started wrestling my sophomore year of high school after my football season was abruptly ended by a hip injury the first football game of the season. After recovering, I decided to join the wrestling team. Ever since then, I've been hooked and can't wait to start wrestling in collage. 

I'm a solid student, and committed athlete. My coaches might say I am self-motivated, that I embrace coaching, I don't miss practices or meets, and always commit 100%.  Playing competitive sports has been been a focus of my life since I can remember.  I love to compete, and to win. Hard work and struggle fulfill me.
