Wrestling has taught me so much from age 3 till now that there is always something to be learning from. There is endless amount of traits wrestling can teach from courage, hard work, dedication, and being able to deal with adversity. These are just a few traits I have learned over the years to make me a stronger person in my everyday life. Nothing will ever be given to you in this sport it can not be cheated ever piece of success takes all your heart. Every bit of failure fuels your heart with wanting more and better with yourself. Personally this was the most helpful because it taught me how to not quit and always give it my best effort. This was a big impact because wrestling is a grind but if you believe in yourself, coaches, and your wrestling each an every match should make you better winning or losing. Dealing with adversity is important because nothing in life will be easy and is always unpredictable but it’s about adapting to your situation to make yourself and situation better. I feel as if wrestling to me was more than a sport, to me it’s like a life lesson.
