I started wresting in 4th grade. My first year I developed rapidly qualifying and placing second in states, and ever since I feel in love with the sport. What really drove me was in 5th grade when I lost two matches in a row at states which meant I was done for the year. I hate losing. For the rest of the summer I maintained a healthy diet and worked out and went to various different wrestling gyms to train, and sure enough next year I won states and went on to Maryland to compete in the MAWA National circuit which I placed third in. Over 7th and 8th grade I competed in and won more national tournaments, while placing in states during 7th grade and winning states 8th grade. As I began my highschool wrestling career it became clear that I would have to work hard to succeed this year. And I did, I immediately earning my 182lb spot on varsity 30 and 5 went and on they year winning my county tournament as a freshman(which happens to be the most competitive in the state), placing 5th in the state qualifier. However, I unfortunately lost to the state champ that year because my shoelace came untied,
I wish to compete at a pro level and I'm constantly driven by my competitors to be better than them.
