My goal is to be the best wrestler and teammate I can be. I work hard every day to get better and I hope to continue my journey in College. I started wrestling at a young age of 5 and took some time off in middle school but picked it back up to start high school. My first year back I made the all-county All-Star team and qualified for states. My sophomore year was solid but a late season shoulder injury cut short my post-season. I won districts but failed to make it to states that year by losing in the blood round at regionals. This motivated me to train even harder for my upcoming junior year and return back to the state tournament and I was able to do that along with leading my varsity team in takedowns, near fall, points scored on bottom and bonus point victories. I have not placed at the state tournament the 2 times I have been there, but that will change this year. I am currently ranked 3rd in the state at my weight class and I am motivated to put in the work to be at the top of the podium this year.
