As a child, my father thought it was important to train at a young age to learn discipline and skills that would benefit me at that moment and throughout my life. I was very active and energetic and his favorite sport was kickboxing and of course it would become mine too by the time I was 7 years old. Later, more sports were added to my schedule and it became difficult to say which one was my favorite sport.
I enjoy learning, getting stronger, and of course winning. I always maintain my composure whether I win or lose. Losing is a life lesson to learn and get better and winning only encourages me to want more. Now, I am part of a wrestling team with amazing coaches and we are very close as a team, we support each other and are always there for each other on or off the mat. I am currently striving towards my goal to win a state championship in high school and later, I want to continue being a part of a team throughout college and reach my goals of winning more championships.
Both my parents are veterans and I believe respect and discipline were instilled in me from an early age. I have good time management skills and I am not only punctual but early. I believe in being ready to start not just showing up to my scheduled functions. I am always a good listener and student in class. I believe in being respectful and helpful whenever possible.
Year round I am involved in wrestling with my school and last summer I completed the JROB 28 days wrestling camp. Also, when I am able to...I enjoy kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, and playing the saxophone. I am the youngest of four and I have three older sisters that are in college or have graduated college. We are a very close family and we are very supportive of each other. I believe a strong connection with my family has helped mold me to build a foundation of good character and good judgement that I will continue to express with others. I am a good investment as a person in all things including; in sports and in career.
