Growing up being severely bullied and looked down on for my weight, I quickly learned that I could gain respect from my peers by proving myself in athletics. In this, I developed a love for working on myself and seeking self-improvement through new goals; set and achieved one by one. My love for physical self-improvement changed my mentality on numerous levels and motivated me to do well in school. The satisfaction that comes from seeing the hard work pay off is like no other, there is always room for new improvement. I always plan to put everything and anything into this sport and what allows me to participate; Extra work in the off-season and keeping my body healthy will always be a priority.
