I hope the coach that ends up coaching me throughout my College years will be able to tap into all my potential. I want to be the best wrestler I can be. My coaches would describe me as haveo g great character on and off the mat. I'm a great candidate for your team because I'm very coachable. You teach it and I'll learn it. I'm different from other recruits because I leave it all on the mat. Hard work does not deter me and I take no days off--practice at school Monday to Friday, all day tournaments on Saturday and extra training and conditioning on Sundays. I only want to win. I hate to lose, but each loss reminds me that I need to continue to work to be better. I humbly win and I try to lose gracefully. Did I mention I don't like to lose?
Grades...without good grades I can't wrestle. It's not only about the grades though. I understand it's important to exercise my brain as much as it's important to exercise my body. However, I'm looking forward to choosing the classes that interest me in college. My favorite class this year is Honors Physics. I love the challenge of it. This class makes me think and it's so cool when I figure it out.
Working hard on the mat and in the classroom has shown me I can and will be successful.
