My career goal is to obtain my BSN Nursing degree, work in the ICU for a couple of years and then apply to CRNA school. I enjoy serving others and feel like this would be a fulfilling career. I have been on several mission trips doing various things such as serving food to the homeless, construction projects in New Orleans. I also enjoy participating in mission projects within my own community. I have worked at a food shelter serving food, helped stock food pantries, and worked with younger kids at our church during Vacation Bible school. I have played sports since I was three, I am a fierce competitor on the field. I have played baseball, football, wrestled, and this year tried something new, golf. I enjoy the teamwork atmosphere of sports. I believe playing sports has taught me to respect authority, work together as a team to accomplish a goal. How to handle winning, as well as losing. Self discipline and the importance of being punctual. I also believe being strong academically is important, it is important to be a good student in the classroom.
