My name is Thomas Dossett and I am a junior wrestler at Lambert High School. I am currently wrestling 285lbs. I started my wrestling career in 8th grade and fell in love with the sport. Originally, I was told to join wrestling to improve my football skills but found it way more enjoyable, so I quit football and kept wrestling. As a freshman in high school, I went to the GHSA state championship and lost in the blood rounds (so close). Last year as a sophomore I was State Runner-Up at 7A 220lbs. As a junior I was state runner-up at 7a 285lbs. I finished the year with 119 takedowns in 33 matches.
I love wrestling because when I'm on the mat, I can't blame my losses on anyone but myself. I am completely responsible for my results which keeps me accountable. my favorite position is neutral because I love getting takedowns. I like to feel my opponent break and win or lose I want my opponent to never want to wrestle me again.
