There are many aspects of my character which set me apart from other aspiring collegiate wrestlers. I truly care about my education, I have a deep desire to become an NCAA All-American, and I have had to endure some obstacles to attempt to become a good recruit (this I am currently still working on, however I am putting in the time that I need to reach my goal). I understand that my education is the part of college that is really going to get me somewhere in my life. For this reason, I hope that grades will not be a necessary worry for me. I have a desire to become an NCAA All-American (hopefully D1). A desire differs from a "want" in that I am willing to put in the necessary work in order to achieve my goals, not just wish for them to happen. I have had obstacles which have made my work ethic and mental toughness greatly increase. I had a couple physical setbacks (injuries) which resulted in me missing my sophomore year in high school and some "off"season time. The time that I missed made me realize that the time which I have the ability to train and/or study is very dear to me.
