My life began as a "Military Brat". I am the 2nd child of six. I have lived in different parts of the country and met people from all walks of life. This has given me the ability to accept that everyone is different, but we can all work together to achieve the same goal. After my father retired, and we settled down for the last time, I had friends that influenced me to try wrestling as a sport. Within the first few weeks, I fell in love with this sport and knew that the work and dedication that I put in to it, would have rewards in the future. I would love to participate in the sport that I have become passionate about over the last four years while earning my degree. Upon graduating from college my goal is to enter the military as an officer and serve my country like my father.
As a young child I suffered from severe asthma, and at one point required constant medical treatments. It took several years and hard work to get my lungs strong enough to even think of playing in any sport. I was able to overcome this obstacle in my life to where I no longer have issues with asthma, and have been a tri-sport athlete throughout my high school career. I feel that this same drive and determination that I used to overcome my health issues will make me a perfect fit for any coach willing to give me a chance.
