I want to help people and improve their lives. This led me to look into Law Enforcement. I also enjoy the Spanish language and interested in their culture. I have excelled in my Spanish classes and would like to broaden my vocabulary, which will also be useful in Law Enforcement. Therefore I decided I want to double major - in Law Enforcement and Spanish.
I was honored to be a captain this year for my wrestling team. This allowed me to work on my leadership skills. Wrestling was a sport that allowed me to work as a team, but also makes me improve myself to be better for my team. I have been wrestling since 3rd grade, in various clubs until I reached 6th grade and wrestled in middle school. Due to being such a small school, we have had a rotation of coaches in my career. I looked at this positively because I could be influenced by multiple coaches and develop my own wrestling style. I also like to learn from my opponents, so if we meet up again, I can try to defend against them better.
