2018 Highlights Personal Statement
I started wrestling when I was in kindergarten and have learned to appreciate and love the sport. It has taught me to be a leader on and off the mat, pushed me to be a good student, and keep my nose to the grindstone. I stay out of trouble by focusing on what is important, which for me is school, wrestling and working out. I believe hard work outweighs talent any day. My personal goal is to improve each match, and if not I am failing myself.
Wrestling has become my passion year round. I would like to continue with this sport after high school, while getting my degree as a professional pilot.
